Miriam was very social and active in church, choirs and book clubs. She was active in Al-Anon for over 30 years. She enjoyed her many friends, loved to sing and garden - but her greatest joy was her family. She felt very blessed by them all.

Miriam is survived by her four children: Kathleen O'Leary and James Diss of Reno, Nevada; Sharon O'Leary and Nigel Pilling of Longmont, Colorado; Sean and Nancy O'Leary of Clayton, North Carolina; Erin O’Leary and Richard Simmons of Swansea, Illinois; and her beloved grandchildren: Andrew Diss, Leanne Diss, Carissa Pilling, Keegan Pilling, Shannon Kowalski, Bridget Camack, Paul O’Leary, Mark O’Leary, Bailey Runkles, Rebecca Hartswick, and Victoria Dodson and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Miriam “Mimi” O’Leary; her parents and siblings.
