Linda Marie Hale

Dear Jim, family and friends, Danielle and I want to extend our sadness of Linda’s passing, and our condolence to the family whose love and respect for Linda is profoundly evident. While we understood Linda’s history of illness and declining health, we were also impressed by her grace, and strength of mind and body to overcome the dreaded disease. Danielle and I met Linda and Jim by coincidence in the community of Pebble Creek, Goodyear, Arizona. We recently purchased a home in the community and placed an ad within the community to sell furniture. The couple responded to the posting, came to our place and were surprised. Linda immediately recognized our home where the couple had spent a few months during the winters, prior to their purchase of their vacation home within the community. We were quickly taken by the couple’s personalities, Linda so sweet and kind, and Jim’s sense of humor. Long story short, we became good friends with the couple and spent quality time together during their annual vacations in Arizona. During our time with Linda and Jim we learned all about their children and their grandchildren. We heard stories of their family vacations together, we learned about the individual personalities and goals of the grandchildren, and the love and pride they held in the entire family. We also met and became friends with several of their friends from Iowa. We had great conversations together, about their history and life in Iowa. Jim, you are the strength that kept Linda with your family and friends together during Linda’s illness. Please know our grief for Linda and yourself. We are here for you when and if you return to Arizona. With our gratitude for Linda and yourself as friends, Everett & Danielle Teglas

Such wonderful memories of our school days at good old Collins High School. I’m glad we kept up with each other over the years. She was always so proud of her kids and grandkids. I knew them all by name. Rest in peace, my dear Linda. — Love, Carla

Jim and family, I am sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She was a wonderful person. She always asked about my daughter who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 42. She was kind, caring and supportive of others. She will be greatly missed. Bobbi
