Robert A. Barnes, 65 of Cedar Rapids died Saturday September 17, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements,
Survivors include his wife, Pat; a son Cody; daughter Jodi Wise; two brothers Jay and Al; and two sisters Judy and Edna. He is also survived by three grandsons Anthony, Nick and Jake and four granddaughters Dez, Mandy, Ashley and Brittiny. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Amy.
Bob was a born on April 26, 1951 in Cedar Rapids the son of Albert and June Cooper Barnes. He married Patricia N. Northrup in 1982 in Cedar Rapids. Bob was a truck driver in the Cedar Rapids area for many years. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He also enjoyed fishing and time spent with family and friends.
