Deborah Lynn Turecek Tanner, 62, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at St Luke’s Hospital after a long battle of cancer. She lived with her daughter and son in Cedar Rapids.
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Debbie was an only child, but yearned for siblings. She spent her life all over the United States before settling down with her children. She loved God and her country by serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Private First Class. She always put her children’s needs before hers and loved everyone.
Deborah id survived by her children; Alicia, Dustin, and Jaime. Grandchildren; Brandy, Chris and Mike. Her parents, Jean and Charles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society in Deborah’s name.
