Bonnie Mae Harms

Bonnie Mae Harms, 76, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was born on April 19, 1945, and jumped into Jesus arms on Friday, March 4, 2022, after a brief illness.

This spunky, sassy, unfiltered, slightly stubborn, full of life woman had a huge heart. She enjoyed picking on people and making them laugh. She loved going to casinos, playing bingo, and cooking- she could make a mean burger. If you were one of her favorite pizza ranch customers, you better believe she was going to give you a twist on your ear.

Bonnie leaves behind her daughter, Darla (Chad) Klinkenborg of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; beautiful granddaughter Gabby Klinkenborg, her treasured grandson, Derek (Amanda) Klinkenborg; and great-grandson, Bradley all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her brother Bob (Judee) Burmahl of Wyoming, Iowa; nieces, nephews, and so many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hank and Alverda Burmahl of Maquoketa, Iowa; her brother, George Burmahl of Maquoketa, Iowa; sisters, Margaret Davidson and Arla Edwards of Maquoketa, Iowa.

A celebration of life will be held to celebrate this wonderful lady. She insists we remember all the happy fun times spent together.
