Donna Muhl

Donna (Feuss) Muhl, 74, of DeWitt, Iowa passed away at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, after a long, hard fought battle with ALS.

Donna Lee was born on July 21, 1948, on the family farm in Lost Nation, IA to Henry and Elfrieda (Will) Feuss. She was one of eleven children.  She married her high school sweetheart, Randy Muhl, on May 26, 1967.  They celebrated 55 years of marriage this year.

Donna enjoyed anything outside.  She loved reading, sewing, baking and anything and everything that involved her grandsons.  They were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband, Randy, sons Kevan (Tasha), Todd (Becky) and daughter Kara Muhl.  Four grandchildren, Nolan (fiance Jessica), Austin, Landon and Kaiden Muhl.  Brother, David Feuss and sisters Betty (Darrell) Hopkins, Lois Short, Konnie Edelman, Joan (Bruce) VonSprecken, and Diann Feuss.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob and Gary Feuss; sisters, Norma Clatt, Linda Ward and a special sister-in-law Jody Feuss.

Per her wishes, there will be a graveside service at the Lost Nation Cemetery on Saturday, October 8th at 11:00.  A luncheon will follow at the Lost Nation Legion.

Memorials may be made to the family or a charity of your choice.  the family would like to send a thank you to the staff at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House for their loving care and compassion during her short stay.
