Jeffrey Reynolds
Kathy: Deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Jeff’s passing. It was an honor to have known him and grow with him for over thirty years. Jeff was a no nonsense, down to earth type person and a talented and reliable engineer. Despite the challenges he faced he always voiced the quaint phrase ‘Life is good’! Asima joins me in extending our condolences to your family and loved ones
Kathy- Lynn and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family.on the loss of your husband Jeff. An old English proverb, later immortalized in song by Billy Joel said “Only the Good Die Young”. This is certainly true in Jeff’s case. I remember the day when Jeff came into our GPS group from Gen Av one Spring Day in 1980. He quickly established himself as a talented ME throughout the GPS Full Scale Development Program. But I also remember Jeff off the job, playing on our GPS softball team, and the after game pizza parties for us GPSers, our wives, and our kids. Wonderful memories there. II also remember Jeff’s droll sense of humor. Jeff’s work ethic, self-effacing nature, cheerfulness and sense of humor made friends of everyone he met. Deepest sympathy for your loss.
Kathy, I'm very sorry for your loss. Jeff was my first mentor in 1985. He was so smart, organized, and had a wealth of valuable knowledge. He also was fun and funny, his jokes and quips made me laugh every time I saw him. He never complained especially about his difficult health condition later on in life. I would say, "how are you Jeff." And he would say, "well I'm sitting up and taking sustenance". He was a gem of a person. Sending our love and prayers to all you! Kim
Kathy - Julie and I were deeply saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. As Jeff's office mate for 10 years I have many great memories working with him. However what I remember most were his exceptional ethical standards regarding engineering decisions. He would never consider making any convenient short cuts. He certainly was a positive influence on me and anyone else who knew him.
