Diana Easton

Diana Easton, 62, passed away on February 2, 2024. She was born on September 29th, 1961, in Independence, IA to her father Michael H. Eder, and mother Helen I (Chase) Eder.

Diana was a 1980 graduate of Jesup Community School and continued to enlist and serve for 8 years in the Army National Guard. Diana enjoyed many hobbies, including life outdoors, consisting of fishing, rock and arrowhead hunting, flower gardening, bird watching, and spending time at the family cabin. She also enjoyed traveling to Washington State to see the mountains and visit Long Beach. Leavenworth, WA was her most favorite place to visit.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents; brother Jon Michael Eder; niece Sarah Elyse Eder; and grandson Carter Cannon. 

She is survived by her daughters Kiya (Darren) Engbretson of Jesup, Erica Easton of Strawberry Point, Mikhaela Farmer of Strawberry Point, step-daughters Kristy Cannon of Oelwein, and Michele (Steve) Ross of Postville; her step-son Jason (Billie Jo) Farmer; her partner of 25 years, Chris Farmer; brothers Gary (Margie) Eder of Kennewick, WA, Dale Eder of Jesup, and Jamison Eder of Jesup; grandchildren Sydney Engbretson, Austin Engbretson, Nicole Farmer, Jordan Farmer, Tyler Cannon, Haylee Cannon, Macy Cannon, Brody Ross, Blake Ross and Preslee Ross; and her grand-dog Cooper Barrett.
A celebration of life will be held during the already planned benefit on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at the Arlington Community Center in Arlington, IA from 3PM to 9PM.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
