Suzanne "Peg" Grubbe
Suzanne “Peg” Grubbe, 85, of Independence, IA, formally of Dubuque, IA passed away on March 16th, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Suzanne was born on March 31th, 1938 to Alaxander and Margaret (Sprengelmeyer) Peryon in South Bend, IN. On November 11th, 1957, Suzanne was united in marriage to Ronald G. Grubbe in Stickney, IL. She loved to sew, fish, shop and garden and eat lobster. Later in life, she got her nursing degree and worked at Bethany Home and Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alaxander and Margaret Peryon; her husband of fifty-one years, Ronald Grubbe; her brother Robert Peryon, and her granddaughter Crystal Major.
Suzanne is survived by her children; Suezi (Brian) Larson of Denver, CO, Sharon (Paul Langely) Major of Independence, IA, and Daniel (Toni) Grubbe of Dubuque, IA; her brother Joseph Peryon of OH; her grandchildren Athena Schumacher of CO, Cory Major of ME, Nicole and Alex Stumpf of Dubuque, IA, and six great-grandchildren.
