Gloria Jean Barker, 71, of Cedar Rapids, peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 28th, following a long illness.
Gloria was born July 27, 1953, in Cedar Rapids Iowa, the daughter of Warren and Clara (Wharton) Rinderknecht.
Those left to cherish Gloria’s memory are the love of her life, Fred Coleman; her children; John Barker, of Cedar Rapids; Matthew (Samantha) Steele, of Largo, Florida; Fred’s children; Prentice Coleman, Latasha Coleman, Keri Hebert; all of Cedar Rapids; and their combined grandchildren; Jackson, Carter, Khristian, Eleonna and Cu’onna. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Larry.
Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards and chess.
Gloria’s children would like to extend special thanks to Larry & Debbie Theisen and Nicole Sanders for their loving and caring friendship.
Per Gloria’s wishes there will be no services.
