Deb was born October 10, 1956 in Corona, CA, she lived in Garden Grove, CA and attended La Quinta High School. She married and moved all over the country spending time in GA, SC, CA and IA. Deb spent her life caring for those she loved, starting with her children, ultimately raising them mostly in Iowa, then moving back to California to care for her mother until her death, then doing the same for her father until his death. Deb met and married Larry during this time, they then returned to Iowa to be near her grandchildren. She also cared for Larry until his passing.
Deb loved the Lord and when she wasn't caring for her own family, she was serving at Faith Baptist Church in Iowa City where she was a member or at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp in Clear Lake, IA where she served as a counselor at Special Camp and met Roger, who was also a counselor. The two married in October of 2022 and loved serving others together and doting on the combined children and grandchildren until her passing. Deb often said that caring for others was her ministry and her passion. She will be greatly missed.

For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. (Romans 14:8)
