Helen Irene Varner

What a lovely spirit and amazing neighbor. Before she moved, a little pagoda showed up in my zen garden one day. While walking by, she let me know that she put it there and thought that was a good place for it. It was so sweet hugs to the children and grandchildren. You had a great one.

I so enjoyed doing Helen's hair for years in Dubuque. She was always on the go helping at the Veterans center or at Resurrection. Loved her big heart and sense of humor. Prayers to her family.

Thank you for your service to the Veterans Freedom Center. You were truly a friend to Veterans. It was a joy to know you.

I'm so blessed to have had my sweet friend all these years. We had so much fun and how I miss that great laugh of hers and that great big heart who cared for us all so much. We'll see her on the other side. I know she's at peace and will bring laughter and love to everyone watching for her. To all her family I'm so sorry for your loss.
