Linda Ann Hill
Linda Ann Hill was born September 20,1944 in Des Moines, Iowa as the oldest daughter to Merle and Elsie (Winfield) Rees of Waukee, Iowa.
Linda passed away April 17, 2025, at Every Step Kavanaugh House after her short battle with cancer, with her family by her side.
Linda was a fiercely determined woman who never let a challenge beat her. She was a ‘get things done’ kind of person. Linda was definitely a “tell it like it is” gal, but she could do so with the outstanding style and class she always displayed.
Linda’s work ethic was uncontested, and she certainly displayed that every day during her 42 years and 6 months at Briggs Healthcare Corporation. She started her career at Briggs as a 3-week temporary gig and she never left. But, that was Linda, she just had the ability to take the bull by the horns and get things done, and the powers at Briggs obviously could see that in her.
If you were Linda’s friend, you knew what a “true friend” really is. She was truly one of a kind and always there for all people, forever putting others before herself.
Linda’s biggest pride and joy was her son Chris Hill, born May 25,1972. Linda devoted her life to Chris and his well-being, and she was very proud of his accomplishments.
She had 2 cats, Lizzy and Louie, that kept her company and entertained her a lot. She especially enjoyed dog sitting for her “little buddy” Zoey.
If you have stock in Amazon, don’t be surprised to see your stock plunge. Now that Linda is not here to order weekly, sometimes daily, the impact will surely be felt. Of course, if there’s a way, our determined Linda may be ordering for delivery up above.
Fly High Linda Hill. To know you was to love you. We all thank you for the fun, caring, positive impact you made on everyone you touched upon.
Linda is survived by her siblings: Peggy (Dave) Forret of Adel, Mark Rees (Rebecca Berhens) of Dallas Center and Deb Rees of Waukee; Nephew, Shane (Danica) Forret of Ankeny.
Linda is proceeded in death by her son Christopher Raymond Hill and parents Merle and Elsie Rees.
