Rachel Eileen Bakker, 75, of Steamboat Rock, Iowa, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd, at First Christian Reformed Church, 12420 185th Street, Wellsburg, Iowa, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Rachel was born on July 2, 1949, to Julia Lorraine Wulf in rural Grundy County, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother.
Rachel is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-three years, Glen Jay Bakker; her children Jason Bakker, Andrew Bakker, and Kristy Kopaska; and her cherished grandchildren: Jonah, Alexa, Jaxon, Cassandra & Brianna, along with son in law Jeff Kopaska and daughter in law Deb Bakker.
Rachel was a woman of deep faith, unwavering love, and quiet strength. She found joy in her family, her church community, and the simple beauty of rural life. Her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
