Denise Kay Miller
Sweet lady, always with a smile on her face whenever we came to cafe. She always made sure to save my daughter Alyssa her favorite piece of cake when she would come into the cafe every Sunday with her Grandma Doris. Deepest condolences to her family.
Oh, I love you!...[Yeah] I told Val the news. You would've smiled to hear her ask, "My favorite Aunt Denise?" You always said if we refer to you that way, it will stick with her. It did! I'll miss the way you would say "Yeah." That one little word that no one in the world says quite like you or as good as you. Yeah! I think it might have been your favorite word. Yeah! You taught me how to comb my hair and make it look feathery, a true trend of the 80s. You gave me my first perm and then spent the rest of the night helping me wash it out. I'll miss laughing with you, visiting with you, and all the phrases you coined. You're the only person ever to ask me why I was all dolly wrinkled up. It's fancy. And the only person to say bye with, "I'll catch you on the bounce" because anyone can say "I'll catch you on the flip side or I'll see you later," but you say, "I'll catch you on the bounce." The smell of Tabu perfume, Finesse shampoo, and the taste of butterscotch pie (a Cline trademark) will always make me think of you and miss you. I'll never master the smokey eye like you. Every time I try, I'll think of you. You're forever in my heart! Best part of Christmas get togethers was sitting next to you. You put me in the middle. I had Grandma to my left and you to my right. What a lucky girl I was! I had the best seat in the house! I know that now! I love you! I love you! I love you! I love you! I say that four times for you, Stu, Grandma & Grandpa. Hugs and someday we'll sit together again all dolly wrinkled up. [Yeah] Until then, I'll catch you on the bounce. [Yeah]
Denise was a lifelong friends. She was a wonderful and caring person. She always had a smile. We spent a lot of time together over the years. She will be missed, for sure. Thoughts and prayers for her family. Denise, thanks for the wonderful times and memories made. Rest in Peace, our friend ππΌπ
