Mary Beth "MB" Freeman
Glenn, so sorry for your loss. I was worked with Mary Beth for the entire time she at Kirkwood Bookstore. She was a really great, and a lovely person. I'm so sad to hear she lost her health battle.
I had the honor and pleasure of supporting MB at the bookstore for years and she has never left my mind, which is probably what led me to this page today. I am so sad to hear of her passing, and your loss Glenn. She was a force and l'm sure that you are both grateful for the extra time but also missing her by your side. My thoughts are with you. Rest in Power MB.
So sorry for your loss. I was able to work with Mary Beth here at Kirkwood for a few years. She was a really great person and I'm so sad to hear she lost her health battle.
MB was an angel in disguise for a long period of my life. We deeply bonded over so much laughter at the absurdity of people and life in general. I learned so much from her and feel deeply grateful to have experienced such a unique soul. Her spirit lives on in every birdsong.
Us girls at the LWB are grieving the loss of our sweet regular MB. We can’t believe she’s gone but her powerful spirit will continue to impact so many. What a beautiful human! All the love to you Glenn, we will go birdwatching in her honor. Alyssa, Ella, Gracie, and the gang <3
Glenn, you married a very sweet one, and I’m glad that you and MB got to savor each other for so long.
A beautiful soul. Pure goodness, gentleness. Peace. And a beautiful couple. Glen, holding you and Mary Beth in the light. Peace, Catherine Quehl-Engel
Katy, Roger and I are sad to hear of MB's passing. She was a blessing in my life at Kirkwood, and will remain a blessing in my heart going forward. I think of her often here on the South 40 as we track the migration of birds across the seasons. We send our love to you and hope for ease in the journey ahead. Be well.
