Daniel Garfield Elledge
Daniel Garfield Elledge, 79, of Manchester, IA, passed away in his home on July 5th, 2025, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Daniel was born on December 31st, 1945, to Stanley and Dorothy (Northrup) Elledge in Iowa City, IA. Daniel enlisted in the Marine Corp after high school and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He was married to Susan (Keck) Elledge and had two children - Rebecca (Doug) Hansel, and Andrew (Andrea) Elledge. Dan worked his way up the ladder at Ertl company for decades then became self-employed. He later joined in marriage to Patricia Langreck and gained four step-daughters - Sandy Langreck, Sherry Pategas, Patty Coleman, and Joylyn Popelar.
Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Elledge; his parents, Stanley and Dorothy Elledge; his brother, Joel Elledge, and two brothers-in-law - Vance Bissel and Gary Klosterman.
Daniel is survived by his children; his grandson, Isaac Hansel, many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his four sisters - Gwen (Dale) Soppe, Evelyn Bissel, Ruth Klosterman, and Grace (Terry) Rutledge.
