Duane Robert Rinderknecht
I was a teacher on the Vernon Middle School staff when Duane was teaching there. He was very kind, polite and friendly. I enjoyed visiting with him and will always remember him as a respected gentleman.
I'm deeply sorry to hear about about his passing. I enjoyed having him as my 6th grade teacher at Washington Elementary. He was such a good teacher. He even aloud my Dad to drive his car outside by the classroom so he could let everyone know that myDad(and to see) the deer that he just got. He let those who wanted to go out and look at it. That was really nice of him to allow that. I remember talking to him after school before I would go home. My prayers go out to his family.
There are so many things to remember about Duane. He was a faithful friend who had many talents. He loved to use his hands to carve so many things. One that comes to mind was a duck. He had a great eye for detail carving feathers that looked real. He loved his grandchildren and spent hours teaching them card games. The greatest gift he gave them was his time. I loved is boldness in sharing his faith! We will always remember the imprint he made in so many lives. We praise God for Duane. His friendship was a treasure!
Been thirty years since 7th grade, but still remember Mr. Rinderknecht as a teacher. My dad also reminisced about things they had both done at school as teachers. Safe journey!
Sorry for your lost. my dad was Albert Rnderknecht.
