Orville Ray Mobley

My love and heart goes out to all of you! The obituary was so beautifully written! It sums Uncle Ray up in a nutshell. He truly was a very hard working man and loved you all immensely. Sure, he was a little rough around the edges, but was a very loving person and would do anything for any of us. Rest in peace Uncle Ray, love your niece, Karla (aka Edna), as you so lovingly called me for as long as I can remember, lol. I will love you and miss you forever and always! Be sure to let everyone know, that has gone before us, that I love and miss them terribly. Until we meet again.

Ray and I were classmates and friends. We visited on the phone in later years a couple of times a month. Always amazed at Ray’s memory of past events. I believe I was one of the few that could call him Orville and not get punched. Condolences to his family. Darrell Shook
