Roger Fuller

Roger Fuller, born on October 18, 1956, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, passed away on May 3, 2025, in Parkersburg, Iowa.

Roger lived a life defined by dedication and craftsmanship.  He found joy in tending animals and fixing things around the farm-skills that reflected his practical spirit and deep connection to rural life.  With hands that were rarely idle and a mind always engaged, Roger built a legacy grounded in hard work and quiet wisdom.

He was a beloved husband to Deborah Fuller, with whom he shared a life filled with love and purpose.  Roger was a devoted father to his daughter, Deeann Fleshner, and her husband, Tony, and to his son, Daniel Fuller.  He also embraced his role as stepfather to Jason and Jimmy Combs.  His family grew across generations through several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Marge and Sylvester Fuller and a brother, Jesse Fuller.  Their values lived on through him-in the way he worked, cared for others, and approached each day with resolve.

Though he is no longer with us, Roger’s memory lives on through the skills he shared, and the moments treasured by those who knew him.  May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 2 pm to 6 pm at 33640 290th Street, Shell Rock, Iowa.
