I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Travis, who I first met in 1994 at Iowa State. I fondly remember his dedication, sincerity, and sharp wit. Too soon indeed and my thoughts are with their family, friends, and all who are grieving this loss.

I only know Travis as my opponent in many lawsuits. Travis was a quality lawyer and a pleasure to deal with. He will be missed by many in the legal profession.

As a lawyer, Travis was a model of civility and professionalism. Although we were always “on the other side” from one another in our cases, I always enjoyed working with him. To Travis’s family, I am so very sorry for your loss.
