Obituary for Mark Richard Meyer

"Our sincere sympathies to Jen and all of Mark\u2019s family. We wish you peace as you navigate this very difficult time, your loss of Mark, such a loved and very special person in your lives.\r\n\r\nMy husband, Joe and I loved Mark, all of the wonderful things he was and gave to us because of our friendship. We have very fond memories of times spent together.\r\nSeveral years ago, during the \u201cCOVID shutdown months\u201d, Mark readily and selflessly agreed to help me with a project; to build a Little Free Library for a dear friend who had suffered a great loss. It was to be a LFL to actually resemble my friend\u2019s home! So it would take a person with a creative and intelligent mind to make happen. Mark was that person!\r\nI wish I had saved the many texts back and forth in the planning stages of this project.\r\nMark, as we all knew him to be, was very thoughtful, wanting it to be just right, and also still humble and not wanting any special accolades for his part. Well, of course he followed through until the finish and created the most special LFL. Mark always told me that he felt gratitude to have been part of such a special project.\r\nOur hearts are grieving.\r\nWe will keep our memories and love for Mark and his loved ones close.\r\nEllen and Joe Holtwick\ud83d\udc9e\r\n"
