Earl James "Jay" Pierce III
So sorry to hear of Jay's passing. Worked with him at Vector Corp for years. Fished and rode Harleys together. Lost track of him thru the past years but often thought about him. Heck of a guy. Q5CWXk
So sorry for your loss, Vicki and family. I worked with Jay for many years at Evergreen. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have such special memories of Jay, especially from when I was about 13 and he taught me how to disco dance. We’d clear out the dining room, turn up the music, and dance for hours in front of that big mirror. Those memories still make me smile. I’ll also always remember how he and and my sister Sue were there for me during one of the hardest times in my life, when we lost mom. I’ll never forget that kindness and support. Sending love and condolences to Jeni, Jake, and everyone who loved him.
Jay worked for me at LeFebure for several years as a press brake operator. We became good friends, even got invited to your wedding where he made the most wicked trash can full of punch!! We also went to Minnesota fishing once where he HAD to get a cast in before anyone else and before unloading the truck. Then, loaded up to head home he got in one more cast and landed a nice northern. Jay was a great employee, never complaining, a bit of an impish grin, very good natured. We even got a couple Harley rides together and he was a natural on his Harley. My condolences and good thoughts to the family.
