Obituary for Rose Brophy Wieland Pedersen

"I was blessed to be next-door neighbors with the Wieland family on DeForest St. in Iowa City for 6 years. It was a great neighborhood to grow up in---so many summer days and evenings spent outside playing together, including putting together a circus, as I recall! \r\nI remember our Moms taking turns driving us to school and back to Southeast Jr Hi, especially since Ann and I were only one year apart in age. In later years, I was blessed to be able to reconnect with part of the family when I discovered that Andy and his wife Sheila had moved to Colorado, as had I. So many wonderful visits and celebrations with the Wielands as I watched their 4 kids and some of their grandkids grow up!! I know how much you will be missed, Rose. Thank you for being such a great Mom and neighbor! "
