Thomas Stevens Sowers

I am thinking of all the family in the days & months to come and sending my condolences. Tom was quite the character when I knew him and I remember some fun times and good talks with him.

Sending love and prayers from the Linda and Len Bronsink. I have soooo many memories from Tommy’s stays at our house to the huge favor you did coming over to talk to the TV stations for me. Tom was always an encourager and just solid fun to talk too. Memories are bubbling up inside me! Wish we were there.

Juli: I’m so sorry to learn of Tom’s battle with Parkinson’s and of his death. Hearing the news called to mind how you and I occasionally worked together during my years at the Register; that included my writing an occasional story about the outdoors when you were in charge of that part of the sports section. You often wrote interesting columns about your family’s hunting adventures. I hope you’re doing well, despite Tom’s passing.

"Iowa Cremation gave me extraordinary support when my husband passed away. Everything was handled with compassion and respect, and for that I am forever grateful."
