Gary Gilbertson
Gary and I were good friends when we were young, I have fond memories of horse back riding with him , our coon hunting adventures and the letters he wrote my mother about the marble cake she sent him when he was in Vietnam. He was a good man. My sympathy to all, he will be missed.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Jean- I could always sense your love for him when I’d see you and we’d take a moment to visit. How blessed you were. Jessie- I remember how much you loved your dad. God bless you all.
I only saw Gary a few times after I graduated, one year ahead of him from Waukon High School, but Cheryl (nee Schoenthal) and I both remember him as such a wonderfully nice and decent guy. Our condolences to his entire family and especially his wife and Greg- who we both have known before we left the Waukon/Waterville/Elon area over 50 years ago. People like Gary have long made us realize how lucky we were to grow up around such wonderfully friendly, and caring people.
So sorry to hear of Gary's passing .He always had a smile on his face and was a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Jean and Family. So sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and so much fun to be with. We are going to miss you Trash Trucker. Hope you are having a cold beer and listeningto some good old country musicand maybe even a jig. Love Woody & Eileen ❤️
